It started with our own daughters
When Dr. Chay's daughter was born with a severe tongue-tie, the effects reached far beyond feeding. Over time she developed a high, narrow palate, crowded teeth, a crossbite, and a habit of breathing through her mouth. Looking for answers led Dr. Chay, and soon Dr. Bracy, to study how the tongue, the jaws, and the airway shape a child's growth.
A short time later, Dr. Bracy's daughter had her own tongue-tie released, and nursing became dramatically easier. Those two experiences changed how both doctors practice. Straight teeth still matter, and so do healthy ones, but their real focus is the child: how they breathe, sleep, eat, and grow.
