Sedation dentistry for your young patients
Some children need more treatment than they can comfortably complete in the chair. When that happens, we can help. Dr. Bracy performs the dentistry in our White Plains office while our partner dental anesthesiologist manages sedation, and once treatment is complete, your patient returns to you for all of their ongoing care.
A short introduction from our doctors
In a few minutes, Dr. Chay and Dr. Bracy share who we are, how our sedation visits work, and what your patients and their families can expect from the first call through their return to your office.
A straightforward path for your patient
We keep the process simple for your office and reassuring for the family.
You refer
Send the referral with any radiographs and notes. We contact the family directly to schedule.
We meet the family
Dr. Bracy reviews the treatment plan with the parents, answers their questions, and prepares them for the day of care.
Treatment day
Dr. Bracy completes the dentistry in a private suite while our dental anesthesiologist provides and monitors sedation throughout.
Back to your practice
We send you a summary of the treatment completed, and your patient returns to your office for all routine and follow-up care.
When sedation may be the right choice
- Children who need extensive or full-mouth restorative treatment
- Very young children who are not yet able to cooperate for longer procedures
- Children whose anxiety has made treatment in the chair difficult
- Children for whom completing care in a single visit is the kindest option
We are an extension of your care
WholeSmile does not provide cleanings or routine checkups, so we are never in competition for your patients. Our role is to complete the treatment your patient needs and return them to you. Dr. Bracy is a board-certified pediatric dentist with more than ten years of experience caring for children, including those who need treatment under sedation.
